As Lead Engineer Primary, you will be responsible for all mechanical engineering structures of a high-voltage substation. From the steel structures where the high-voltage lines will be suspended to the transformer houses that provide protection. With your knowledge and skills, you know how to translate each customer's requirements into a customised solution where every detail has been considered. You work efficiently, do not like reinventing the wheel and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. In addition to making 2D and 3D drawings, you take care of the structural engineer by doing the smaller (strength) calculations yourself. As a line engineer, you’ll be engaged in diverse energy infrastructure projects alongside a dynamic team of constructors, modelers, project leaders, and engineers.Your role includes:Designing and calculating high-voltage lines and roof networks for substations, as well as working on other structures like rail supports and civil works.You will also contribute to preparing quotations and, when needed, discuss project scopes with clients.Maintaining valuable connections with colleagues and clients, sharing your ideas for the best solutions while leveraging the latest industry developments and our internal software tools.Staying current through active participation in knowledge sessions, you’re eager to advance your career, whether as a technical expert or in a coordinating capacity.You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary construction team (civil and electrical) to design and calculate steel and concrete structures for high-voltage lines and roof networks of high-voltage substations.In cooperation with our own software developer, you will collaborate on building our own software for simulating the behavior of conductors.

Performing cable test and insulation measurements.Performing assembly and overhaul work on medium-voltage installations such as: solar farms, wind farms, distribution stations, medium-voltage distributors in industry and local networks (district distribution stations) and car charging infrastructure.Working towards being able to independently assemble all common cable connections in an industrial environment, a high-voltage substation or substation. You will do this initially under the supervision of a skilled colleague.If necessary, you will also be assigned mechanical engineering tasks. This involves assembling and (dis)assembling steel structures and components from drawings.Naturally, we will take your current level of knowledge, experience and personal preferences and capabilities into account. Due to the varied range of tasks in two disciplines, you will be trained to become an all-round medium-voltage technician.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you are the one who gives final approval and energizes the systems. A responsible and important role! You are the final safety net and responsible for the approved and ready-to-use delivery of our high voltage projects.Starting from the design, you organize the entire testing process, zooming in on aspects such as safety, quality and functionality of the systems.– Preparing and documenting inspection and test reports;– The independent safeguarding, testing and commissioning of electrical installations, panels and control cabinets;– Performing inspection, verification and testing activities (FAT, SAT and SIT) in the field of primary, secondary and tertiary systems, in accordance with requirements, existing standards and guidelines;– Managing the team of test engineers and commissioners;– The planning and progress of the testing process and quality of the test object.

We are looking for a Protection Automation & Control Engineer. Someone who is able to enforce the engineering and commissioning team on energy & substation automation and distribution & transmission grid protection with knowledge and experience. The Protection Automation & Control Engineer will work on the engineering, realization and commissioning phase within the project team.Within the projects the Protection Automation & Control Engineer will discuss technical issues with sales and other project engineers. The engineer will report to the project manager considering progress and technical commitment with the customers. Together with the team, the engineer will provide technical documents and setup the hardware for configuration and technical tests. During the factory acceptance test (FAT) you will guide the customer through the systems and answer their questions in close collaboration with the project manager. During the commissioning period, you will be the responsible engineer on site, taking care of the commissioning issues and successful site acceptance tests (SAT).
