Job description

As a Technician Extreme Ultraviolet you will focus on assembling, adjusting, qualifying and delivering the EXE machines. EXE is short for Extended EUV (Extreme Ultra-Violet). The EXE Manufacturing department as a whole, is responsible for the build, qualification, de-assemble and install of the complete EXE systems, which ASML started producing in April 2021.

You will be cross trained to be able to work on multiple activities within our unique cleanroom factory, where you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team. You’ll participate to optimally organize capacity, maximize learning and build an active quality feedback loop. Working in a new factory - and with a new team - requires a flexible mindset.

As a Technician Extreme Ultraviolet, you’ll:

  • Build, install and align components and modules working in multi-disciplinary teams within a high-tech environment;
  • Work according to agreed specifications and delivery times with the mindset to continuously improve factory processes and your own way of working;
  • Provide support during the introduction of the new EXE products (into the production process), whist laying down product, process and measuring data in protocols and databases;
  • Work in close cooperation with various disciplines, maintaining the planned delivery times and quality, identifying/reporting bottlenecks and escalating (technical) issues with the aim of structurally resolving them;
  • Encourage and promote a safe working environment and work in accordance with the 5S+1 principles;
  • Actively seek to improve learning curve regarding the product and processes via short feedback loops, thereafter sharing this knowledge with all stakeholders;
  • Actively seek to implement and improve a Lean manufacturing environment within the EXE factory.

Job requirements

Education and experience
  • Vacational degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, electronics or automotive engineering and with 0-2 years’ experience;
  • Preferred: affinity with (system) assembling, testing and troubleshooting.

  • Write and speak fluent English (e.g. able to write procedure comments and transfer documents in English).

Other information
It’s important to note that you’ll work in shifts: A support shift schedule consists of the early shift one week and a late shift the next week. You have a 4 day work weeks and are expected to work 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks. Open for travelling towards clients all around the world. (30% of the time).

Salary

€2.000 - €3.000 gross income per month
