We’re searching for a Commissioning Engineer to join a world-class team crafting some of the most beautiful, custom-built yachts in the world. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful commissioning of complex systems and installations on large custom-built yachts. You will be part of a dedicated project team, working under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager, with key responsibilities including:

  • Planning and executing commissioning activities in close cooperation with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all systems and installations on board the yacht are tested and commissioned safely and efficiently.
  • Starting up and making systems ready for use, including executing sea trials.
  • Documenting all relevant commissioning and sea trial data.
  • Collaborating with the Owner’s Representative team to ensure smooth commissioning execution.
  • Working closely with third parties, including regulatory authorities, suppliers, and manufacturers, to fine-tune commissioning processes.
  • Applying a results-oriented, problem-solving approach to meet project goals within deadlines.

Job requirements

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in marine or yacht engineering who is not only technical but also passionate about creating something truly special.

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years in maritime or yacht-building industries (motor or sailing yachts are a plus!).
  • Skills: Proactive, problem-solving, and ready to take on challenges with a smile.
  • Know-How: Comfortable with MS Office and have strong communication skills (English is a must!).

Salary

€3.750 - €4.750 gross income per month
