As a Crane Operator, you have a responsible job where you work independently. These are some of your tasks:
- You unload and transport hulls and other materials using an overhead crane/magnet crane according to lifting plans.
- You scan hulls and register the check-in of plates.
- You perform visual checks on the lifting equipment.
- You unload push barges and load AGVs in the inlet harbor.
- You move hulls, welding aids, and materials.
- Using a forklift, you separate waste and ensure its disposal.
As a Crane Operator:
You are a proactive, responsible team player who enjoys working with cranes and forklifts. You keep an overview, take initiative and ensure that everything in the hall runs smoothly. With your VCA certificate, crane instruction and forklift experience, you are well prepared. You have a VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English or are willing to obtain one.
You are decisive and take initiative.
You have crane/lifting instruction.
You have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
