The Diagnostics department is part of the After Sales organization within Marketing & Sales. This department, consisting of approximately 65 people, is responsible for the development, production and maintenance of off-board diagnostic equipment (hardware and software) for DAF Trucks and PACCAR Engines workshops and factories worldwide.

As a Diagnostics SW Test Manager you are part of the team responsible for managing, designing, maintaining and constructing the software for the DAVIE diagnosis tool (Diagnostic and Programming tool). This applies to all PACCAR service and production departments, as well as to product development and special applications.
In this role you will be responsible for taking the entire test cycle of the department to a higher level, so that optimal efficiency and delivery reliability are created. You define the test strategy at department level and record it in a Master Test Plan. You also coordinate all test activities within the department and you are responsible for co-drafting and reviewing the various Test Plans and Test Specifications, introducing structured test methodologies and coaching the various test engineers.
You are also responsible for determining the priority of the automated testing team in the role as Product Owner.
In this position you report to the Diagnostic Quality & Release Manager.

Job requirements
or this challenging position, we would like to get in touch with candidates with an education at HBO/WO level in computer science. At least 5 years of professional and specialized knowledge in the field of software testing, preferably in the automotive industry.
A good command of the English language is a must. Your knowledge of SW test processes, experience with testing software components and systems, knowledge/experience with setting up an automatic software test environment, experience in translating requirements into test cases are largely visible on your CV. Finally, you are communicative, decisive and socially skilled and able to act at all levels.

- Demonstrable system and component software testing skills
- Knowledge of test methodologies, preferably TMap Next
- Experience with setting up automatic test environment (GUI test tools)
- Experience with testing SW applications on Windows PCs
- Participate in requirements engineering team regarding testability
- Experience with test case tools, preferably HP Quality Center and Team Foundation Server
- ISTQB foundation level
