What to expect as a Electrical Engineer:
As Electrical Engineer, you will drive maximum plant safety and compliance. You act from our Business Unit Technology and Innovation as the electrical conscience of the plant regarding safety and compliance of equipment, safeguards, facilities.

You will support malfunctions, e.g. crashes, repair teams and participate in RCAs (Root Cause Analysis);
You provide technical input to Maintenance, Studies, Projects & Turn Arounds in scoping, Hazard & Operability Studies, design review, subcontracting, selection, evaluations of firms' activities and execution phase;
For complex Maintenance assignments, you will draft Technical Orders Sets (TOS), evaluate and keep them up-to-date
From Failure Mode & Effect Analysis you initiate and supervise redesign of specific high-risk equipment, give advice on maintenance strategy, spare parts inventory and preventive plans;
You provide information, advice and training to technicians and users in the field of expertise in order to increase the level of knowledge;
You maintain good relations with external and internal customers, suppliers and external experts;
You are flexible and can quickly switch between different assignments and clients;
You are critical of working methods and constructively indicate where improvements can be made.

Job requirements

You have a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering;
You have at least 3 years of specialist experience within the electrotechnical field of expertise energy technology, as an installation and/or work manager (NEN3140/NEN3840) and experience with voltage supply of plants (distributors, transformers, emergency power supplies, motors, etc.);
You speak fluent English as well as Afrikaans
You are good at applying the SHE aspects in the work area;
You have a good ability to apply the impact of laws and regulations in the field and can properly assess the impact of electrical engineering on other professional disciplines;
You have experience in drawing up practical implementation details of issued technical advice and have experience in drawing up complex Technical Assignment Statements and of (projects) scopes

What can you expect from Xelvin:
2 years Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension.
Relocation package from Xelvin: Finding the right new challenge, relocation budget, arranging of documentation to work in the Netherlands and guidance from housing consultant to find an accommodation.
Salary between €3500 and €6536 gross per month excl. allowances depending your working experience
