Job description

What will you do?

As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting EMC assessments for new and existing projects, including high-voltage systems, renewable energy integration, and electrical substations.
  • Analyzing potential electromagnetic interference and designing solutions to mitigate risks related to EMC.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects meet required EMC standards and regulations.
  • Providing guidance on EMC design, testing, and validation for electrical systems, including cable systems, switchgear, and communication systems.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of internal EMC guidelines and best practices to ensure long-term compliance with international standards.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in EMC and electrical engineering, applying new techniques and technologies to improve project outcomes.

Job requirements

Basic requirements:
  • Safety is always your top priority;
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, willing to learn Dutch;
  • Driver's license B.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • Proven experience in EMC engineering within the energy or electrical industries, especially high-voltage systems or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience with programs like Matlab, ATP, or similar.
  • You have sufficient substantive knowledge and thus know where the risks in the technical design in the field of EMC lie.
  • You are used to or enjoy stepping away from the drawing board and working more in a reviewing and coordinating capacity.

Salary

€4.000 - €8.000 gross income per month
