Do you have a passion for engineering and want to work on world-class luxury yachts? Our client is expanding and looking for new colleagues in the Engineering department. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the final design of a superyacht, ensuring top quality and on-time delivery with your team.

What will you do?
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for detailed engineering, creating 3D models, and preparing datasheets. You will work closely with fellow engineers, Senior Engineers, and the Lead Structural Engineer, forming a strong project team within the Structural discipline. This team is responsible for the engineering of the yacht's hull and related components. Additionally, you will collaborate extensively with colleagues from other disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Exterior Design, and Special Engineering. You ensure a smooth flow of information between the engineering and production departments, enabling us to meet production schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

The ideal candidate for this position is:
  • Available full-time and has at least an MBO/HBO level of education;
  • Has several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in shipbuilding or yacht building;
  • Speaks fluent English, spoken and written;
  • Has extensive knowledge of the entire construction process of seaworthy (super)yachts;
  • Is computer-savvy and experienced with systems such as CAD software, NX, Team Centre, and other essential tools.

Salary

€3.500 - €4.500 gross income per month
