Job description

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for technology and travel? Do you have expertise in mechanics, electronics, and knowledge of PLC systems and automation? Then we are looking for you!

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work on-site at customers' locations around the world. You will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced machines and systems. You will become part of a dynamic team and have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies in the field of industrial automation.

  • Installing, testing, and commissioning complex machines and industrial systems.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to mechanics, electronics, and automation.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
  • Analyzing malfunctions and effectively implementing solutions, both on-site and remotely.
  • Supporting customers by providing clear technical explanations and guidance.
  • Collaborating with the internal team to ensure continuous improvement and optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Training customers and employees on the use of machines and their systems.
  • Traveling to customer locations, both domestically and internationally (up to 80% of the time).

Job requirements

  • Completed MBO or HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electronic components, along with knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Experience with PLC programming and automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting machines.
  • Good communication skills, both in Dutch and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Independent, flexible, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (internationally).

Salary

€3.500 - €4.750 gross income per month
