Job description

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of metalworking machines and resolving technical issues efficiently. You will be working on-site at a company where maintenance plays a key role in the production strategy and goals. With your expertise, you’ll contribute directly to the company’s performance, reliability, and overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on metalworking machinery, including CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and take corrective action to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Conduct inspections, adjustments, and calibrations to optimize machine performance.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers on machine operations and maintenance.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Document service reports and maintenance activities accurately.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting metalworking machines, specifically CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Experience with CNC programming and adjustments is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when necessary.

Salary

€3.500 - €4.500 gross income per month
