Job description

As a line engineer, you’ll be engaged in diverse energy infrastructure projects alongside a dynamic team of constructors, modelers, project leaders, and engineers.

Your role includes:
  • Designing and calculating high-voltage lines and roof networks for substations, as well as working on other structures like rail supports and civil works.
  • You will also contribute to preparing quotations and, when needed, discuss project scopes with clients.
  • Maintaining valuable connections with colleagues and clients, sharing your ideas for the best solutions while leveraging the latest industry developments and our internal software tools.
  • Staying current through active participation in knowledge sessions, you’re eager to advance your career, whether as a technical expert or in a coordinating capacity.
  • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary construction team (civil and electrical) to design and calculate steel and concrete structures for high-voltage lines and roof networks of high-voltage substations.
  • In cooperation with our own software developer, you will collaborate on building our own software for simulating the behavior of conductors.

Job requirements

What we need from you:

  • Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, HTI, or BV/BmS, and have a strong desire to advance in high-voltage engineering.
  • You bring experience in designing and calculating high-voltage lines, including steel, concrete, and conductor calculations.
  • With a sharp intellect and a drive for growth, you are eager to expand your expertise.
  • You are entrepreneurial and take ownership of your work, understanding that success requires dedication and effort. When you commit to a project, you give it your all.
  • You possess solid computer skills and are keen to further develop these abilities, with an interest in programming as it becomes increasingly relevant.
  • Experience with RFEM, PLS-Tower, PLS-CADD, or IDEA-Statica is a plus, but we are happy to provide training if needed.
  • You engage with your colleagues and actively participate in social activities within the team.

Salary

€3.500 - €5.000 gross income per month
