Job description

Are you an experienced engineer ready to take on the challenge of functional leadership in a high-end shipbuilding environment? No two projects are the same because neither are these fully customized superyachts.
Join a growing team at one of the most prestigious Dutch shipyards, where innovation and craftsmanship define every project. In this role, you will be integral in creating high-quality, tailored solutions for the exterior of luxury superyachts.

You will collaborate with fellow engineers and report to a Senior Engineer, working together to ensure the timely and precise development of the final design.
Your Role:
  • Detailed engineering, 3D modeling & datasheets.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely execution of final designs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturability.
  • Key focus areas include the design of doors, hatches, railings, and sunblinds, where you’ll need to carefully evaluate aspects such as materials, production methods, assembly processes, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability.

Job requirements

  • HBO-level education with relevant experience in yacht building/interior construction.
  • 3+ years in yacht/shipbuilding.
  • Strong knowledge of production techniques & manufacturability.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX, TeamCenter & CAD software.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's, SOLAS & Large Yacht Code (preferred).

Salary

€3.000 - €4.250 gross income per month
