Job description

Are you ready to take your career to the next level and join a leading international company in the Netherlands? We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior MES Software Engineer to strengthen our growing team in the South of the Netherlands.

As a Senior MES Software Engineer, you will:
  • Design, develop, and implement IT software solutions for industrial installations at our client sites.
  • Be part of a fast-growing MES & Data Analytics team of 55+ specialists, contributing to innovative projects and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure desired outcomes are translated into clear, effective designs.
  • Develop, maintain, and operate new and existing services to support site operations in industrial environments.

Job requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Application Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent industry experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in MES.
  • Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, VB, ASP) and SQL.
  • Experience with MES platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, TrakSYS, GE PlantApps, Shopfloor-Online, or Siemens (preferred).
  • Knowledge of designing information interfaces, data conversion, and network/infrastructure basics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Affinity with industrial automation, with experience in PLC/SCADA and knowledge of ISA95/ISA88 considered an advantage.

Salary

€3.500 - €5.000 gross income per month
