As a software Engineer R&V you are responsible for optimizing existing solutions for operating systems and to develop new (Vision) software on the basis of a customer demand or on behalf of R&D. You design 2D/3D software solutions and coordinate them with colleagues, integrate the software into the operating systems and run tests on different specifications.
In addition to (further) developing and programming software, you solve malfunctions in software (remotely or on location) and you are a sparring partner for your fellow Engineers and customers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary R&D team consisting of two hardware Engineers, two software Engineers PLC and several mechanical Engineers.

Because robotics is becoming a bigger part in the various solutions that we are researching, your knowledge of robotics is there for very welcome!

As a mechanical Engineer R&D, you make technical sketches/3D models on request or on your own initiative. You design prototypes, machine(parts), have close contact with suppliers and other parties involved to arrive at the requested and possible solutions. You then determine the materials to be used, make bills of materials and pneumatic diagrams.
You also write specifications for production, inspections, end products and production technology. Finally, you test machines and parts against the CE guidelines and applicable certifications. In addition to these activities, you coordinate mechanical designs with fellow Engineers, you may visit customers in case of technical problems and you carry out research on the basis of improvement and optimization.

MES Engineer Industrial Services
Department: Industrial services, Actemium

As an L3 / MES software engineer you design, build and implement IT software for industrial installations for our clients worldwide. The work is performed at both the company's own location and at the client's location. You develop and configure IT software, based on the functional design and interface definitions. Measuring points within the total work process are the completion of the design phase, the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and the SAT (Site Acceptance Test). It is a varied position with many opportunities for further development.

Engineer wil work on sites of different clients of Actemium.

As an Electrical Project Engineer you are responsible for the electromechanical design of the material handling system. As an engineer you take care of the total EM design. This includes, for example, creating an EM layout, making the specifications for ordering the components and integrating components from other suppliers. The safety part is also your responsibility. You work closely together with the Mechanical Project Engineer and the PLC Engineer and you are the point of contact for the installation team when it comes to EM topics. You report directly to the Manager Engineering.
Occasional travel is part of the job (1-3 days per month).
