In the role of a Plate Roller, you are involved in the initial stage of the production process. You work on the manufacturing of steel plates. You are part of a team with colleagues from various nationalities, which highlights the importance of being proficient in speaking Dutch, German, and/or English. As a Plate Roller, you work in a three-shift system, meaning you need to be flexible with day, night, and afternoon shifts.
What will you do?
- Manufacturing and pre-heating plates according to the corresponding Route Cards or production sheets.
- Welding the shells in the mill according to specified welding procedures.
- Calibrating the shells within the specified tolerances.
- Correctly completing the Route Cards for the workpiece.
- Timely detecting and reporting any deviations in the product and/or the mill.
