We are on the lookout for a passionate and motivated QC Inspector to enhance our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will ensure the highest quality standards of our client’s primary product, the monopiles, directly supporting the energy transition and sustainability efforts throughout Europe.

Your Role
As a QC Inspector, you will conduct thorough inspections of products and processes, ensuring compliance with established plans, instructions, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include performing various manual and equipment-based measurements, as well as visual and NDT weld inspections. You will compile detailed measurement reports and communicate your findings to the operations team, ensuring that products align with customer quality requirements while providing guidance on quality standards and control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive measurements and inspections during production and at final checks using advanced tools (e.g., total stations, photogrammetry, easy laser);
  • Ensure adherence to procedures and address non-compliance among team members, with the authority to halt work as necessary and report issues to the Production Team Leader;
  • Advise the Production Team Leader on the correct application of procedures and recommend process improvements to mitigate quality deviations;
  • Monitor and analyze deviations in processes and measurements to identify potential causes;
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to promote a learning organization that embraces improvement and strives for excellence;
  • Early identification, reporting, and documentation of quality issues;
  • Facilitate training on quality procedures and instructions for operators and assembly workers using established materials;
  • Maintain a continuous focus on improvement opportunities within the quality control process.

Job requirements

You are a proactive individual who isn't afraid to ask questions to obtain the necessary information for effective performance. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a customer-oriented mindset, allow you to work collaboratively towards shared goals. Ideally, you meet the following qualifications:
  • Completed NQF-4 (or higher) education in a technical field, preferably mechanical engineering;
  • Significant experience in welding technology, familiar with manufacturing processes in the steel industry, quality systems, and applicable standards (ISO, ASME, API);
  • Valid Vtw-2 certificate (pre);
  • NDT certifications (IWI-C, IWT, CSWIP) or knowledge of NDO techniques are advantageous but not mandatory;
  • Familiarity with specialized measurement techniques and equipment;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally; flexibility is crucial for this role;
  • Valid VCA-VOL certificate or willing to get one;
  • Availability for a 3-shift system or other rotating schedules;
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary

€4.000 - €5.000 gross income per month
