Your role as Senior Electrical Cost Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Cost Engineer, you will manage complex electrical projects in the utilities sector, with budgets ranging from €50k to €2 million. These projects are primarily in the South Holland region and include prominent locations such as commercial centers and office buildings in The Hague. You'll also have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across other industries, including aviation, education, data centers, and commercial properties. From initiation to completion, you’ll oversee each project, ensuring you're deeply involved in every stage.

Based at our office in The Hague, you’ll regularly visit clients and project sites to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and develop tailored solutions. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing cost estimates and project calculations for modification works, ranging up to €2 million, either based on your own designs or client specifications.
  • Engaging closely with clients to draft detailed project descriptions and accurately price each component.
  • Overseeing the project from concept to completion, with a specific focus on cost calculation.
  • Considering various project factors to achieve optimal pricing: assessing material needs, selecting subcontractors, and determining labor requirements.
  • Actively contributing to pre-engineering during tender processes.
Your expertise in both Electrical Engineering and Cost Engineering will be highly valued and utilized in this role.

  • A diploma at the MBO (Vocational Education) or HBO level (Bachelor’s Degree), ideally in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience as a Cost Engineer or Estimator, specifically in installation technology.
  • The ability to identify project risks during various phases and quantify them effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of rates and norms to manage project budgets.
  • A passion for learning and personal growth, both professionally and technically.
