As a Welding Operator, you take on a vital role in managing our machinery and ensuring the production of high-quality welded plates, some as long as 27 meters. These plates are eventually shaped into the steel structures that power the global push for renewable energy.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Welding Operator, you'll utilize semi-automated welding equipment to create welds following precise welding procedures (WPS). You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating the machines correctly, as well as performing routine maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. By taking care of the equipment, you ensure it operates at its best.
Your attention to detail is crucial when it comes to testing and verifying the welded steel structures, ensuring they meet strict standards and specifications. You’ll document production data, maintain relevant records, and report on the status of operations.
In this role, safety is paramount. You’ll follow all regulatory guidelines, remain vigilant for potential hazards, and take steps to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
