Roles & Responsibilities
As a welding process specialist, you train and supervise welders and supervise the welding processes during production.
- You are the point of contact for the welder for welding technical issues;
- You identify and assist the welding agency in developing trends in welding repairs and in identifying possible causes;
- You will be welding new welding method qualifications (PQR);
- Participate in the improvement teams;
- You manage welders functionally and you monitor the welding quality delivered.
- Carrying out machine audits.
- You contribute to the development of new welding methods together with colleagues from the welding department;
- Monitoring the correct use of welding procedures and deployment of qualified personnel on the work floor;
- Perform welding inspections and proactively identify maintenance or modification needs of welding machines;
- You take the necessary responsibility for your work, quality, safety and achieving objectives.
