What are you going to do?
You will be an important link that ensures that our production company can continue to operate.
As a technician you are responsible for carrying out unplanned and planned maintenance work and projects. The focus is on the mechanical level, where additional E&I knowledge is of course to your advantage. The work mainly takes place during the day shift, where flexibility for shifts and weekend shifts is a requirement.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Efficiently carry out maintenance on our machine park (Mechanical and Electrical);
  • Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and perform mechanical maintenance;
  • Timely identification and reporting of deteriorations in the condition of machines;
  • Provides input on replacement of (production) installation and improvements regarding maintenance work;
  • Supervises the implementation of a conversion or commissioning of the installation. Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace;
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on production resources.

Education, experience & skills
  • Vocational trade diploma, qualified artisan (Red Seal) towards Mechatronics or Electrical engineering;
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLC controls is an advantage;
  • Experience with reading machine drawings and interpreting manuals;
  • Knowledge of and experience with analyzing and solving malfunctions;
  • Experience with reading machine drawings and interpreting manuals;
  • Native Afrikaans;
  • Knowledge of and experience with analyzing and solving malfunctions.

Salary

€4.000 - €4.250 gross income per month
