What are you going to do?
As a Rolling Stock Mechanic at Sif Netherlands, you are responsible for carrying out various maintenance and repair work on our rolling stock. You ensure that both light vehicles and heavy vehicles are in optimal condition, which contributes to efficient and safe business operations

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on various types of rolling stock, including light vehicles and heavy vehicles. Both lifting equipment and vehicles;
  • Diagnose technical problems and equipment malfunctions;
  • Carrying out repairs and replacing defective parts;
  • Preparing reports and documentation on work performed;
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency;
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations

Education, experience & skills
  • Vocational trade diploma, qualified artisan (Red Seal) towards Mechanical or Automotive engineering;
  • Demonstrable experience in maintenance and repair of various vehicles, including heavy vehicles;
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when carrying out work.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and preferably English.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with varying working hours.

Salary

€4.000 - €4.500 gross income per month
