Job description

As Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible designing and working out the electrical control installations and associated documentation for the purpose of the attractions to be put into production.

What will you do?
  • Setting up single line diagrams for motor distribution systems, requiring knowledge of motor protection components, soft-starters and variable speed drives.
  • Calculating total connection power, heat losses, cable diameters and cable paths.
  • Selecting appropriate transformers, DC power supplies and circuit breakers, and appropriate controls for designing control desks, sensors such as inductive proximity switches and photocells, as well as appropriate connection materials such as terminals, cables and glands.
  • Working out PLC power circuit diagrams using a symbol list prepared by the software engineers in the Systems Engineering Department. This involves the use of safety PLCs, remote I/O components and data networks (EtherNet). Electrical schematics are worked out in detail by an external drawing office. The drawings are done in E-plan P8, knowledge of which is not necessary.
  • Checking the detailed drawings is part of the job.
  • Checking the ordered electrical panels on the basis of a FAT at the supplier before they are transported to the construction site.

Job requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering;
  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in designing control panels;
  • You are able to analyze problems and deal with them in a structured way;
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

Salary

€3.500 - €4.500 gross income per month
