Job description

As an electrician, no day is the same. You can see your scheduled tasks on your own tablet. You leave from home in your own company van to the location in your work area. One day, you might be resolving a malfunction with an apprentice at a customer's place, or you might be out to repair a cable damaged by excavation. On another day, you might oversee an installation project from start to finish, such as replacing an old medium-voltage space with a new one. As an experienced technician, you are also involved in our low and medium voltage networks.
In summary, your tasks involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues in low and medium voltage networks and transformer stations.

This is what you can expect

For this, based on a 38-hour working week, you will receive:

A salary in scale 4 (€ 2,400 - € 3,474.04) or scale 5 (€ 2,611.08 - € 3,761.08) gross per month, depending on experience.
Based on a full-time working week, an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary, including ADV. If you do not work full-time, you are not entitled to ADV and you will receive 12.8 IKB budget%. You decide whether you use it for extra days off or extra salary, among other things.
An end-of-year bonus in December of 5.94%.
A laptop or tablet, mobile phone and your own company bus.
Reimbursement for the watch and breakdown service with the associated surcharges.

Company profile

Did you know that at Alliander we consist of different companies? Together with Liander, Qirion, Qterra, Dep, Firan and Entrnce, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of residents of the Netherlands. And with the current energy transition, that is hard work. We do this with the help of more than 8,000 professionals. Thanks to these talents, we have full confidence in the energy future of the Netherlands. Together with you we make that possible.

And you will do that at our Liander business unit. Here you are partly responsible for the management and maintenance of energy networks such as electricity and gas. You arrange this with around 3,000 colleagues. We supply energy to households, companies and other customers.

Monitoring our energy grid is only possible if you have enough energy. And the right working environment gives you that. The Maintenance & Malfunctions department consists of pleasant and helpful colleagues. You always help each other with larger, more complicated issues. And of course there is also time for a nice chat or a good joke. Your future colleague will tell you more about this.
