Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes for new, modified, or recurring products. This position is responsible for providing technical support to ensure efficient production flow and high-quality output in our factory.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate production and process issues to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide technical support to enhance production speed and efficiency.
Identify and eliminate inefficiencies to minimize waste in manufacturing processes.
Advise on potential rework of out-of-spec products, considering cost and customer interests.
Implement activities to reduce avoidable costs and minimize production expenses.
Develop standard work methods and instructions to reduce variability in manufacturing.
Collaborate with product owners to enhance product manufacturability and address recurring problems.
Initiate and organize actions to improve production processes, particularly in cases of quality issues or rejects.
Provide support in resolving equipment problems affecting manufacturing.
Lead productivity improvement projects to reduce waste, enhance quality and safety, and lower operating costs.

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a CNC machining manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and models of products and fixturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts in simple, understandable language.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a plus.
