Job Description:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within our petrochemical facilities. Bringing extensive experience and in-depth technical knowledge to the team, you will act as a mentor to junior engineers. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges and develop innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Leading the design and engineering of electrical systems for petrochemical facilities, including power, lighting, and instrumentation systems.
Drafting technical specifications, drawings, and procedures in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Coordinating the implementation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.
Identifying and assessing technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Supporting maintenance activities by providing technical expertise in troubleshooting complex faults and issues.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a culture of innovation and efficiency.

What can you expect from Xelvin:
  • 2 years Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension.
  • Relocation package from Xelvin: Finding the right new challenge, relocation budget paid by Xelvin, arranging of documentation to work in the Netherlands and guidance from housing consultant to find an accommodation.
  • Salary between €5000 and €6000 gross per month excl. allowances depending your working experience.
  • A job with perspective. After the 2 years contract of Xelvin you will be on permanent contracted by your employer.

What do we expect from you:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the petrochemical sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation technologies, and industrial standards and regulations.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the petrochemical sector.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

Salary

€5.000 - €6.500 gross income per month
