Dit is een kenmerkende uitspraak van onze 42-jarige Ralph. Met als wens om internationaal te bemiddelen, versterkte Ralph in 2013 het team in Eindhoven als managing consultant. “Ik heb de studie Sociaal Pedagogische Hulpverlening afgerond en daarna een aantal jaar in de jeugdhulpverlening gewerkt. Uiteindelijk kwam ik tot het besef dat dit niet meer was wat ik zocht. Ik houd ervan om met mensen bezig te zijn en naar hen te luisteren, maar op een andere manier.”

Ralph woont samen met zijn vrouw Nina en kinderen Finn en Nova. Zijn gezin is zijn hobby en zo houdt hij er dan ook van om dingen met hen te ondernemen. Spelletjes spelen, weekendjes weg, de kids wegbrengen naar de scouting of ballet: hij doet het allemaal met liefde. “Ik vind het heel belangrijk om naast collega, partner en vader ook een goede vriend te zijn voor mijn vrienden.” Zo is Ralph niet vies van een biertje op de vrijdagavond en bezoekt hij af en toe festivals. Naast het werken, zijn gezin én zijn vrienden staat Ralph ook nog eens zo’n drie tot vier keer per week in de sportschool.

Inmiddels heeft Ralph al zo’n vijftien jaar ervaring in de arbeidsbemiddeling en gaat hij nog steeds iedere dag met plezier naar werk. “Ik vind vooral het omgaan met mensen heel leuk, dat je écht iets voor hen kan betekenen. Door de juiste vragen te stellen krijg je vanzelf de behoeftes op tafel. Wat wil JIJ en wat vindt JIJ belangrijk?” Een situatie die Ralph altijd zal bijblijven? “Ik had een kandidaat geplaatst, waarna ik een mail kreeg van haar opa en oma, geschreven in het Afrikaans. Ze vertelden mij hoe dankbaar ze waren voor de kans die ik hun kleindochter had gegeven. Dat gaf écht voldoening.”

What are you going to do?
As a Rolling Stock Mechanic at Sif Netherlands, you are responsible for carrying out various maintenance and repair work on our rolling stock. You ensure that both light vehicles and heavy vehicles are in optimal condition, which contributes to efficient and safe business operations

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on various types of rolling stock, including light vehicles and heavy vehicles. Both lifting equipment and vehicles;
  • Diagnose technical problems and equipment malfunctions;
  • Carrying out repairs and replacing defective parts;
  • Preparing reports and documentation on work performed;
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency;

Education, experience & skills
  • Vocational trade diploma, qualified artisan (Red Seal) towards Mechanical or Automotive engineering;

  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

What are you going to do?
You will be an important link that ensures that our production company can continue to operate.
As a technician you are responsible for carrying out unplanned and planned maintenance work and projects. The focus is on the mechanical level, where additional E&I knowledge is of course to your advantage. The work mainly takes place during the day shift, where flexibility for shifts and weekend shifts is a requirement.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Efficiently carry out maintenance on our machine park (Mechanical and Electrical);
  • Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and perform mechanical maintenance;
  • Timely identification and reporting of deteriorations in the condition of machines;
  • Provides input on replacement of (production) installation and improvements regarding maintenance work;
  • Supervises the implementation of a conversion or commissioning of the installation. Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace;
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on production resources.

Education, experience & skills
  • Vocational trade diploma, qualified artisan (Red Seal) towards Mechatronics or Electrical engineering;
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLC controls is an advantage;

Assembler Extreme Ultraviolet

As a Technician Extreme Ultraviolet you will focus on assembling, adjusting, qualifying and delivering the EXE machines. EXE is short for Extended EUV (Extreme Ultra-Violet). The EXE Manufacturing department as a whole, is responsible for the build, qualification, de-assemble and install of the complete EXE systems, which ASML started producing in April 2021.

You will be cross trained to be able to work on multiple activities within our unique cleanroom factory, where you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team. You’ll participate to optimally organize capacity, maximize learning and build an active quality feedback loop. Working in a new factory - and with a new team - requires a flexible mindset.

As a Technician Extreme Ultraviolet, you’ll:

  • Build, install and align components and modules working in multi-disciplinary teams within a high-tech environment;
  • Work according to agreed specifications and delivery times with the mindset to continuously improve factory processes and your own way of working;
  • Provide support during the introduction of the new EXE products (into the production process), whist laying down product, process and measuring data in protocols and databases;
  • Work in close cooperation with various disciplines, maintaining the planned delivery times and quality, identifying/reporting bottlenecks and escalating (technical) issues with the aim of structurally resolving them;
  • Encourage and promote a safe working environment and work in accordance with the 5S+1 principles;
  • Actively seek to improve learning curve regarding the product and processes via short feedback loops, thereafter sharing this knowledge with all stakeholders;
  • Actively seek to implement and improve a Lean manufacturing environment within the EXE factory.
